An award winning kitchen was the result of our partnership with Luxury Home Builder, Quorum Design and Construction and Capitals' Senior Kitchen Designer, Helene Terry.

The request was for variety and interest, yet in this contemporary setting the appropriate design was one that provided tranquil and clean lines. Therefore the Maple Striarwood veneer with horizontal graining provided the peaceful backdrop. The complement of the Cherry Striarwood veneer on the island cabinetry proved to be a harmonious choice.

The wood panels on the integrated refrigeration and wine unit allowed even more of a peaceful respite to soothe the eye and soul. The translucent glass doors of the sliding pantry and the blocking of the metal tambour appliance garage/coffee system followed suit with this tranquil feeling and gives great storage and attraction.

The dropped soffitt shadows the lines of the island and creates a great flow for the additional lighting and special light fixture. The bonus storage of the pull out pantry systems and convenient home office system makes this a room where the homeowners greatly enjoy a cup of coffee, cook, serve and visit with family and friends. It has it all.
