An
upscale Remodel in the Forest Hills area of Dallas restored
by warmth
Tucked
in cozy Forest Hills near White Rock Lake, this traditional
home was overdue for a kitchen remodel. The existing kitchen
lacked functionality, style and warmth.
Moving an outside wall back and adding a peninsula wall unit
with glass inserts on both sides is just one of many design
features that transformed this kitchen into the gathering
place of the home. Three contrasting cabinetry colors with
accent crown molding, created a dramatic warmth and restoration
of the kitchen’s original period.

TIP
OF THE MONTH
The Myth
Keep
Coffee in Refrigerator or Freezer to keep fresh
The Real Deal
Use freshly ground
coffee. Think of coffee as fresh produce. The enemies
of coffee are oxygen, light, heat, and moisture. To
keep coffee fresh, store it in an opaque, airtight container
at room temperature. Storing coffee in the refrigerator
or freezer for daily use can damage the coffee as warm,
moist air condenses to the beans whenever the container
is opened. SOURCE:
