Bringing the Inside, Out.

Everyone dreams of an outdoor kitchen, with no limits. This owner's vision was to have an outdoor kitchen that fully functions like an indoor kitchen in regards to drawer and cabinet storage, adequate counter space for cooking and entertaining, ample seating (8 bar stools in this kitchen!) and a wide range of appliances. Check out this kitchen and how they accomplished it!

What makes this Kitchen Extremely Unique is the Cabinets by Atlantis Outdoor Kitchens. The Boxes and drawers are made of tough and extremely durable "Perma-Panel" polymer material with UV inhibitors which is ideally suited to outdoor applications for the patio, deck or pool area since it is unaffected by rain, snow, sleet, and temperature extremes from 200 degrees F down to -100 degrees F. Since it is a polymer, it won't absorb moisture, split, crack, rot or swell. Hinges and drawer guides are made of rust proof stainless steel. Also the Atlantis kitchen does not have the extreme weight of a typical stone support application which can create structural problems if the floor construction is not designed to handle such weight. Amazingly, the cabinet materials have a limited lifetime warranty to the original homeowner and the wood components have limited fifteen year warranty.

Ebony stained Teak wood was selected for the doors and drawer fronts, however Cypress and Bamboo are also available. The Brazilian granite countertops were selected to blend with the outdoor environment and the a custom open fire pit was designed to create a 360 view from the inside to the creek the home sits on.

THE RIGHT DESIGN FOR WINE

Architectural Digest presented a by-invitation-only wine tasting for Liebherr with Capital Distributing featuring wine expert Michael Green at the celebrated Hotel ZaZa in Dallas.

The June 10, 2010 evening hosted 75 guests participating in a lively wine tasting and viewing the latest in wine, humidor and refrigeration units by Liebherr.
